So how do you play Battletech anyways? In this new series, we're going to take a quick look at playing the darn game rather than just talking about the lore. This is a quick introduction, a very basic fight between two units of two 'mechs (a Guillotine and a Wolverine against a Cataphract and Vindicator). We will discuss quickly movement, shooting and other basic concepts, but not get into anything deep or weird.

This is using MEGAMEK for playing, meaning most of the game is automated, meaning you have to learn much fewer things to just be able to "enjoy the game" rather than memorizing all the charts right off the bat.

The idea is to have multiple of these videos over the weeks and months, showing different fights, different tech levels, ect...
